Q: Do I still need to season an electric humidor?
A: Yes! Because we use real Spanish Cedar shelves, you must season them (wipe them down with distilled water or use seasoning packs) before loading your cigars. The wood needs to drink first so it doesn't steal moisture from your cigars.
Q: Compressor vs. Thermoelectric: Which is better?
A: Thermoelectric is super quiet and vibration-free (great for smaller units). Compressor cooling is more powerful and better if you live in very hot climates or need a large cabinet. We manufacture both to suit different environments.
Q: What is the ideal temperature setting?
A: We recommend setting your electric humidor to 65°F - 70°F (18°C - 21°C). Combined with 65-72% humidity, this is the sweet spot for aging.
